Stanford, CAObjects to Destroy Ourselves With is a new collaborative performance piece combining experimental music, projection, poetic text, and live movement to confront the literal and conceptual objects that shape our collective undoing. Oscillating between the clownesque and the reminiscent, the work examines love, technology, nostalgia, and power as agents of catastrophe and desire.

Conceived in September 2026, the project emerges from the artist’s ongoing engagement with the experimental electronic music community in San Francisco. The script was devised through interviews with friends and self-described “experts of catastrophe,” many based in Silicon Valley, exploring cultural responses to technological acceleration, existential risk and the seductive qualities of that which may destroy us.

The production is directed by Pauline Mornet and features sound design by Franky Kohn (pka Clearcast), video design by Ryan Yu, and lighting design by Trini Rogando.
